Have you heard of the "SNURFBOARD"

Well a very close friend of mine, Kim Novak is married to the inventor. Its called the "novak snurfboard". What Bob did was take the old "snurfer" and re-invent it. It is made of this space glass type substance which is indestructable and put a few curves here and there and wham..Here are a few pics I took while FOX NEWS was interviewing him. The girl you will see is the reporter and she totally tried it out. very cool. I was brave and tried it, this board is super fast! And for real, I mean super fast!! If you like speed, like to ski or snowboard you really have to try this thing out! These are selling for $150, not a bad price at all. Merry Christmas!

My son, Christopher had his Christmas dance on Friday night. Some of his friends stopped by so i grabbed my camera, of course it was pre-planned, and i got a few shots of him with his date, she is too cute and the other kids well hmm. here they are and i dont remember their names but they will!

Well its that time of year and today is December 1st and ofcourse we had a ton of snow. The kids didnt have school so they loved that. I went outside in the freezing snowy cold weather to get some shots for you, so i dececided to get the shots of my home and how it is decorated. I hope you enjoy....

This is the foyer, The room you walk in when you enter my home..lol...Anyway i do love walking in here!

Welcome to my formal living room. This is the room I never use, it's too formal for me! But I put my tree in here. I love my tree, I do it exactly the same every year. The kids have their tree which you will see coming up. Notice the 2 Renoir's on the wall. I painted them about 2 years ago. I painted long before I photographed!

  Here you will enjoy my snowman fettish I collect them and absolutly adore all snowmen. 

This is the Formal Dining Room. Yep I hardly use this either. I think its just that I am southern and we are supose to have these silly rooms packed full of furniture!

Ahh and my kitchen. I designed this myself and I do use it all the time. I do after all have 4 children to feed. I tried to keep it simple, but naaaaaa! I love the tin ceiling and the subzeros ofcourse. I am really glad I choose the maple and cherry combination for the cabinets.

Here we go into the family room. This is the room we all hang out in. We have the fireplace and the 56" TV. I love this room. Yes the walls are all painted dark brown and i have dark red curtains and brown leather furnitre and all the table are dark as well. I love the warmth of this room.

Well I hope you enjoyed the little tour of my downstairs, maybe someday I will take it upstairs. Thats a whole new adventure!

THANKSGIVING

wow i am hijacking here but wow oh wow man you all have to head over to gary fongs blog. it is the best web or non web based debate on christainity i have ever been a part of or even heard. there are hundreds of people involved. just scroll down and turn the page until you find the post where gary is quoting scripture, but its really from the book of mormon. i was suprised at how some pastors didnt realize this. i am suprised at how people attacked the mormans saying they arent christians as if they know each one individually, thats like saying everyone who professes to be a christian really is. then missy, gary's fiance posed questions as to why quote scripture in public and then she was blasted and finally attacked and acused of not being a christain and here she is one. a lot of athiests have jumped in the conversation and truely i think we as a christian society really make God way to complicated and i will never understand why.

Melissa's Back!!!!

Here she is....back for round 2...Melissa is a brave girl. in 39 degree weather she opted to head to lake michigan to finish off her senior picture session. can you say BRRRRRRRRR. cause i was a freezen and i had on a huge down coat and gloves. Melissa is special, and i really hope she gets picked up by a major modeling agency and can go far. here is the slide show, i hope you enjoy.
