So we left yesterday out of Grand Rapids, MI to what I thought would be a quick run through security! But well nope not gonna happen! I guess I look like a terrorist, whatever that is! I had my camera bag and my purse, my husband had my other carry on full of my cosmetics, mac, chanel, perfumes etc. Remember just a couple of weeks ago we flew through the same airport to go to Texas and no problems at all. Okay, anyway the security dumb ass went through my stuff and was freaking out about my liquids and gels (my lip glosses, perfumes and eye creams!)
I was only allowed to bring what would fit into a 1 quart ziplock bag. Needless to say it wouldnt all fit. He was really harassing me to the point i started to cry! I was treated in an unbelievable way! All the while safely, in my Chanel purse was; 2 lighters, 2 eye creams, 1 bottle of chanel parfume, 1 lipgloss and visine! Never was my purse searched at all! I successfully got on the plane with the real threat of 2 lighters! Do i feel safer knowing security actually cares about mac and chanel cosmetics? NO NO NO NO NO NO
How stupid are they? Obviously this was personal, because why would he care about my make up and not a lighter, well 2 of them? I am writing letters and making calls to my Governor, senators, reps all the papers in michigan and Bill Oreilly!
How long do we as Americans have to have our rights violated because of a president who could care less about us, the little people! I am so sick of this shit, and stories like mine! enough is enough!
I have to go find some fun in the SUN! It is so cold here and seriously I have a major case of cabin fever! So, Jim and I are taking off on Sunday to head for Sarasota. I am praying for warm, warm, warm weather, no rain and just fun! I will be posting while I’m there, hopefully some cool shots. We are looking for a house as well so I will post the ones we like!
Here are some recent pictures from Christopher’s basketball game. He really loves this and football. I must say he excels at both sports and I am very pleased with him! This was a tough game, they went into overtime, sadly we lost! But it was a blast! The refs totally sucked. They made some really BAD calls and they are the reson we lost.
So Gary Fong is predicitng the end of the United States of America. And its going to happen in just a few months. Well either he is right or he is a freak of nature, trying to scare the crap out of everyone. Last time the US had this much debt relative to GDP was during the Great Depression and the result was a sharp contraction of debt. So the government just prints more money, good? No, not at all. this devalues the dollar further and increases the price of goods like mad.
**Just a note for a thought** the United States has more billionaires than any other county, boasting 371 here leaving 422 in the rest of the world. Gary will talk about the interest rate kick in that will happen around June, the majority of idiots that I know that bought homes or refinanced with adjustable rates, have already or are currnetly refinancing with fixed rates. The combined net worth of US billionaires is $1.1 trillion while Europe’s is $802 billion. With our own Bill Gates still the richest man in the world with 50 billion…hahaha to be him for a day..********* 1 more FYI Gary notes what CNN reports but heres the rest of the story.. 73 metro areas reported a decline in the 4th quarter compared to a year ago but 71 saw a gain. So obviously its certain parts of the country. Its not like 100% of the US sucks!

Home prices dropped in the most widespread decline EVER. This is even before the mortgage resets which will kick in – mid 2007. It will take about six months before this ripples through, and then banks will be swamped with inventory. After this occurs, sellers will be competing with the bank’s returned inventory – and honestly – well if this is the most widespread decline ever, after mid 2007 when the big bang hits, real estate will take a hit that will completely crush the U.S. economy. The writing is so on the wall.
2.5 TRILLION (2,500 billion) dollars in home refinancing went into stimulating the economy – paying for SUV’s, reducing credit card debt (which was originally used to pay for things like eating out or handbags) and soon using the home as ATM machine will reverse, and pretty much everybody will owe more than they can get liquidity. It is absolutely going to be the biggest crash that will make the great depression look completely minor.
I am so convinced this is coming. Just go backwards in my blog and read what I’ve been saying about it, or for those of you who’ve frequented this blog for a while – you’ll remember me shouting and screaming about this. Mid 2007.
So if I have any advice, it would be don’t bother trying to sell your real estate because you probably won’t find a buyer. I’d buy gold coins and save as much as you can. As they say, save for a rainy day because it’s about to pour unlike ever.

i received an email the other day from a bride i did a long time ago. her mother’s picture was ruined when they moved. she was hoping that i still had the pictures from her wedding. being the fanatic i am about keeping everything, of course i still had it. after looking at it, i remembered how beautiful she is and how great the wedding was. i want to share this photo with you. it really was an unplanned shot, she was goofing around when i took it, and i think it is so sweet! the value of this is too seriously keep all of your pictures somewhere, you never know when you might need them. i have several external hard drives that all of my pictures go on! if you aren’t currently saving everything i highly encourage you to!
